Established in 2005, TMS Property Solutions began with cleaning carpets and started getting calls to help with water damage at residential and commercial properties. After seeing a need for this service, we acquired certifications for water and mold remediation services, and from there added specially trained staff to assist in rebuilding homes and businesses after the water and mold services. Through our sister company, Professional Floor Covering & Cleaning, we also sell and install new flooring, including vinyl, tile, carpet, laminates and hardwood flooring. Taking all of this knowledge and experience to expand into general handyman services, we are committed to helping homeowners, property managers and realtors with all their general home and business repair needs.

Today the need to focus on and specialize in the emergency restoration service has allowed WaterDamage SOS to evolve as North Carolina’s #1 Emergency Restoration company. 

Tom Stoudenmier, Owner

Tom grew up in Beaufort, South Carolina and moved to moved to Charleston, South Carolina in 1996, where he opened a carpet cleaning company, Professional Carpet Care of Charleston. He grew this business to one of the most successful carpet cleaning companies in Charleston. In 2003, he sold the company and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where he started Professional Carpet Care of Charlotte, specializing in carpet cleaning and flooring.

Quickly finding himself doing a large amount of water extraction projects, in 2007, Tom expanded his Charlotte business to include water, fire and mold remediation for residential and commercial customers, as well as commercial cleaning services. Today, Tom employs a full staff of experienced professionals, but continues to be a hands-on business owner who takes pride in the service his company provides.
